Leslie French , CEO & Co-Founder
Born and raised on Long Island's North Shore, Leslie C. French acquired an appreciation for the Gold Coast's fine estates and rich history at an early age. This lifelong interest, combined with an entrepreneurial spirit and a solid background in marketing and business, eventually led her to invest heavily in real estate both in Long Island and Manhattan. Her career experience marketing luxury goods broadened her understanding of, and appreciation for, the sales, purchase, rental and property management aspects of the real estate business. After experiencing some dissatisfaction with the current level of attention offered, Leslie and partners laid the groundwork for their future company and a higher standard for the real estate industry. East Egg Realty was born.
Leslie C. French holds a strong marketing background with 12+ years in the luxury goods industry. She has held senior management positions within large organizations such as Estee Lauder Corporation and L'Oreal Paris, where she developed both International and Domestic marketing programs. In addition, she established free-standing store environments in the United States, a new business venture for Lancôme. Leslie also contributed toward the growth of a new beauty brand, where she drove the business modeling, marketing and product development initiatives. An entrepreneur at heart, Leslie is the founder and president of a Special Events company that serves Manhattan and Long Island.
Leslie spearheaded a Manhattan Board Association where she held the title of President. In her position she developed the strong systems, processes and partnerships needed to maintain a healthy and financially stable environment. As her real estate experience broadened, Leslie coordinated new development projects – both residential and commercial, overseeing the financials, project management, marketing and sales initiatives. Her background also allowed her the ability to engage in real estate projects throughout the world, managing privately owned industrial, commercial and residential real estate investments. She has worked closely with leaders in the real estate industry and established a strong network of experts to support her endeavors.
In her recent career, Leslie immersed herself in the real estate brokerage community, working closely with and analyzing top firms throughout Long Island and Manhattan. Utilizing her marketing expertise, she provided direction on marketing, online programs and new advertising initiatives. This 360 perspective provided her with insight into the inner workings of well recognized firms and an awareness of how certain practices impact the client experience. Inspired by this newfound knowledge, Leslie felt prepared to tackle a troubled industry and introduce more effective and innovative methods of serving Long Island and Manhattan real estate clientele.

Jonathan C. Cifuentes, President & Co-Founder

Jonathan Cifuentes brings extensive experience to the East Egg Realty team, having worked in the fixed income trading and wealth management divisions of several multinational investment banks. Jonathan successfully met the challenging demands of the rapidly changing financial markets, catering to the shifting needs of his clientele and consistently maximizing returns while effectively mitigating risks.
Jonathan developed his real estate skills at an early age, successfully identifying, acquiring and managing investment properties. Jonathan quickly immersed himself in the Manhattan and Long Island real estate environment, monitoring industry and market trends - applying his learnings to his personal investments and providing strategic recommendations to his partners, including global privately owned real estate endeavors. Financial strength and a keen understanding of the economic and financial sectors are imperative in today's real estate market. East Egg Realty relies on Jonathan to pass his extensive knowledge along to our organization, offering a higher level of industry knowledge for our staff and clients alike.
In his recent career, Jonathan joined a top ranking real estate brokerage firm as an Associate Broker. Jonathan's well developed real estate and financial background allowed him the ability to quickly succeed. He was able to incorporate his expertise in two locations, providing his customers a bridge from the Manhattan to Long Island real estate market. He prides himself on his capacity to engage high profile clientele, understand their needs and customize each marketing plan based on his analysis. In addition, Jonathan's strong understanding of New York real estate and his knack for identifying smart investment properties has allowed him the opportunity to establish strong relationships with international investment clientele, assisting them through the full-purchase cycle and offering on-going property management services. Jonathan's ability to grasp all angles of the real estate market along with his strong entrepreneurial spirit provided him with a solid foundation to establish and execute the unique East Egg Realty business model.
Jonathan Cifuentes graduated from George Washington University with a B.B.A. in Finance. He holds an M.A. in Economics from Fordham University where he graduated in the top 10% of his class.
