Qualifications:

  • NYS Real Estate License is Required
  • Strong communication skills required, written and spoken.
  • Ability to use independent discretion and to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • Must thrive in a fast paced environment, can work well under pressure, meet deadlines and ability to multitask.
  • Professional, polished and positive attitude.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated ability to independently establish and achieve goals.
  • Strong computer skills including experience with Google Suite, Adobe, Excel, Word, CRM systems and real estate related databases to build and maintain sales pipeline.

Title: Receptionist | Administrative Asst - Boutique Real Estate Firm

Location: Oyster Bay, NY

Boutique real estate brokerage seeks professional Receptionist/Admin Asst. for our new branch location in located in Oyster Bay. East Egg seeks a Part-time Weekend Receptionist to support this branch/office. Position is primarily for the weekends Sat. 9:30-5pm and/or Sun. 10-4pm. An additional 1 or 2 additional days during the week may be required, depending on experience and skills. Looking for someone with a minimum of 1 year of office experience with strong computer skills, telephone etiquette and general office operating skills. Candidate must be reliable, detail oriented, work well independently and within a team environment, should be creative and resourceful and possess a positive attitude. Room for growth for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Internet navigation and have the ability to learn new, industry-specific software programs
  • Answer & Process telephone calls from both internal and external sources
  • Provide administrative support in a variety of capacities including copier projects, mail handling, supply control, processing of letters/correspondence, answer & process events/meeting planning, report generation, invoice/expense reporting, database management and assisting with completion of specially assigned projects
  • Work on projects that advance the goals of the team and department
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Experience and knowledge of internet marketing / advertising, including the utilization of social media as a marketing vehicle and blog management a plus
  • Professional appearance and polite phone manner
  • Enthusiastic and able to take direction
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and follow up weekly
  • Proactively manage calendars, coordinate meetings and event logistics
