The term "Hamptons" refers to the south fork of Long Island's north shore - specifically, Southhampton and East Hampton, along with the little hamlets and villages that comprise each town, such as Sag Harbor and Bridgehampton. While the area is best known as a summer colony where wealth abounds, there are also year-round residents who occupy middle and upper middle class social status. Hampton dwellers and vacationers alike quickly develop a penchant for the upper crust lifestyle - with parties, film festivals, art, culture, marine life, and much more.

Nicknamed a "playground for the rich and famous," the Hamptons beckons with its ornate homes, ocean views, vibrant night life and famed oceanfront resorts. Heading east from Manhattan, you'll first encounter Westhampton, which is made up of several charming communities featuring all the perks of a laid-back lifestyle in a picturesque seaside town. Westhampton is known for amazing beaches, upscale shopping and entertainment, fine restaurants and high quality of life. At the opposite end of the island is beautiful Montauk, offering coastal fishing and wildlife observation on miles of pristine white sand.
